CROCHET TERMS
Slip Stitch(s): ss(s): Insert hook, yarn over pull through stitch and loop on hook
Chain(s): ch(s): Yarn over, pull through
Double Crochet(s): dc(s): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
Treble Crochet(s): tr(s): Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
Special Stitches
Forward arrow stitch: FAS: yo twice. Insert hook under next ch-1 sp from 2 rows down from front to back. Yo, pull up a loop (4 loops on hook). Yo, pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook). Yo, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook). YO pull through remaining 2 loops
Backwards arrow stitch: BAS: yo twice. Insert hook under previous ch-1 sp from 2 rows down from front to back. Yo, pull up a loop (4 loops on hook). Yo, pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook). Yo, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook). YO pull through remaining 2 loops
Arrow stitch: AS: yo twice. Insert hook under previous ch-1 sp from 2 rows down from front to back. Yo, pull up a loop (4 loops on hook). Yo, pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook). Yo, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook). Leave remaining 2 loops on the hook.Yo twice. Insert hook under next ch-1 sp from 2 rows down from front to back. Yo, pull up a loop (5 loops on hook). Yo, pull through 2 loops (4 loops on hook). Yo, pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook). YO pull through the remaining 3 loops.

ARROW STITCH PATTERN
Foundation: Chain in Multiples of 4
Row 1: Dc in 2nd ch from hook and next 2 sts. *Ch1, skip st, 3 dc. Repeat from * to end. Turn
Row 2: Ch3 (counts as st here and throughout). Tr in next 2 sts. *Tr in ch-1 sp and next 3 sts. Repeat from * to end. Turn
Row 3: Ch1 (does not class as a st) Dc in first st. FAS, dc, ch 1, skip stitch, dc. AS. *Skip next st, dc, ch2, skip a st, dc, AS. Repeat from * until you have 3 stitches remaining. BAS, skip st, dc in top of ch-3. Turn
Repeat row 2 and 3 as desired.
