This pattern gives you the basic principles for the cobble stitch, designed to help you create your own projects.

Crochet terms
ch – Chain
dc – Double Crochet
dtr – Double Treble
*__* repeat instructions
Pattern
Foundation chain: Chain in multiples of 2, plus 2 for turning.
Row 1: dc into 2nd ch from the hook and into every ch until the end, ch1 and turn. (You will have 23 stitches in each row)
Row 2: dc in base of ch1, *dtr, dc* repeat until you come to the end of the row. Ch1 and turn
Row 3: dc in base of ch1, dc into top of each stitch along the row
Repeat row 2 & 3, end with row 2 for a neater finish.

‘Cobble Stitch’ row you say ‘continue with half treble and double crochet’ to the end!
Sorry if this is a repeat of someone else’s email or if I got it wrong.
