Crochet Terms
Stitch(s): St(s)
Slip Stitch(s): ss(s): Insert hook, yarn over pull through stitch and loop on hook
Chain(s): Ch(s): Yarn over and pull up a loop.
Double Crochet(s): dc(s): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
Treble Crochet(s): tr(s): Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.

Materials Used
Yarn: Paintbox Simply Aran Dusty Lilac (246)
Hook: Size 5mm (H)
Corded Ridge Stitch Pattern
Start with any number of stitches plus 1 for turning
Row 1: Tc in 3rd ch from hook (turning ch will class as a st), tc in next st and in each ch to the end. Do not turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, cs in FLO of each stitch across. Ss in top of turning ch from previous row. Do not turn.
Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as tr), skip 1st st, tc in BLO of each and every st from second to last row. DO not turn.
Repeat row 2 to 3 until you reach your desired height.
