Say hello to this cute little Crochet Pouch. This Crochet Pouch is the perfect little companion to my Sundown Market Bag pattern and it really quick and easy to make! With it’s simple stitches, you can make this crochet pouch in as little as a few hours.

Crochet is HUGE on the high streets at the moment, which is amazing to bring attention to our much loved craft BUT, there are consequences when it come to people buying such low ticket items! You can read all about that in these two articles:

Draw string

Ch81

Working in the spine of the st, dc in 2nd ch from hook and across until you have one st remeianing. Ss in remaining chain. Fasten off.

Please note: The front of the pouch is the side where you have 6 stitches between the gaps instead of 4. The two gaps either side of these stitches will be referred to as the ‘right gap’ and ‘left gap’

With the front of the pouch facing you insert the draw string through the right gap from outside to inside.

Working in an anti-clockwise motion, continue to weave the draw string in and out of the work until you reach the left gap.
