Crochet Society Box 5

Did you see the Crochet Society Box 5 official unboxing on my Facebook Page? I LOVE hanging out with you all each month and chatting about the box. WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

Box 5 has a both a Christmas theme and a gift giving theme. I may be bias but it’s oh-so-cute!

Let’s start with the core items in the box. As always, you get a bespoke handmade crochet hook. This month hook is a 3.25mm to go along with the gorgeous patterns. The hook reminds me of candy canes and looks good enought to eat *please note….it’s NOT for eating 😉 *

And then the stitch marker….which IS a candy cane *please note…this isn’t for eating either!* but it is totally adorable! You’ve probably got a nice collection of stitch markers building up too! Lucky for you I’ve included a handly little stitch marker holder in this month box! This rose gold star is perfect for keeping your stitch markers close by OR simply use it as a charm for your bag.

Need a little crochet hook holder for on the go? Or even somewhere to keep a few pens or pencils? I’ve got you covered! This little zip pouch is perfect for carrying around your essentials.

So let’s talk gift giving! In this months box, you will find some ‘Lovingly Handmade’ labels for giving your crochet makes that extra added touch. And because you will need to wrap up that gorgeous gift of yarny goodness, you have some bespoke wrapping paper exclusively made for the box.

So now onto the star of the show…the EXCLUSIVE yarn made just for the box! We are working with some of the best yarn factories around the world to bring you new yarns each month. Peruvian wool is of wonderful quality and the factory we worked with to produce this yarn is committed to upholding the highest standards of yarn production as well as working conditions for their staff. With this yarn, we wanted to produce something smooth and silky which would be next-to-skin soft and with a high percentage of luxury Merino wool content. It was spun and dyed as a bespoke job just for us, so the only people in the world who can get their hands on this yarn are Crochet Society members! How exciting?!

This month we have 3 fantastic designers featured in the box who have brought us some beautiful projects.
