Pin it now, make later!

It feels like so long ago that I did the last Crochet Society reveal! Perhaps the break over Christmas and New Year made time slow down a little? I know I really took the time to wind down a little and it was so lovely.

Last night I did the Official Crochet Society Box 7 Unboxing and as always, it was so fun to hang out with you. If you missed it, you can watch the replay below.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

I’ve been looking forward to this box for MONTHS. I knew that this box would kit doorsteps around Christmas or just after. Making it the perfect time for a little Self Care. Christmas can be such a busy time and we worry about everything but ourselves, so this is the perfect time to put the focus back on you.

Let’s start with the yarn. This Bella Coco Crochet Perfect Cotton DK is made up of 50% Cotton and 50% acrylic (apologies for the mistake in the mini-magazine as it states its 100% cotton on one of the pages) It comes in 2 beautifully complimenting shades names Peach and Rosy. It’s wonderfully soft and glides across your hook. Remember this yarn is EXCLUSIVE to Crochet Society which makes it even more special.

Now for the hook and Stitch marker. This month you have a tie-dye effect polymer clay handled crochet hook in 3.75mm and a super cute hear and hook stitch marker. The perfect addition to your ever growing collection.

Then inside, you have the perfect self-care treat. This gorgeous Rose scented hand cream and lip balm. I think these make the perfect addition to your crochet kit. With all that crocheting and tea drinking, we often forget to look after the skin on our hands and lips! So every time you sit down to do a spot of crochet, don’t forget to apply some hand cream and lip balm.

We also have this beautiful Tie-Dye inspired bag that can have multiple uses. Either use it as a wash bag or makeup bag. Or keep it crochet related and pop in some of your accessories!

So let’s talk about the projects in the box. I was so pleased to welcome 2 lovely designers

Jessica from @rocketgirlcrochet who designed the Archade Delights Scarf

and

Kylie from @stitchedupcraft who designed the crochet scrubbies with basket and lid

This box was also the first box that I featured as a designer. I know it has been much requested, so don’t worry, you’ll be seeing more of my designs in future boxes. My design for this months box was a super cute eye mask.

As with every box, each month brings different projects and new techniques to try, this no was no exception.

SO what do you think of this month’s box?  Did you get yours? OR are you kicking yourself for not signing up sooner?

Box 8 Subscriptions close on 20th January

Remember, all of the boxes are limited edition, once they are gone, they are GONE. Each month we *may* have some boxes left over but it can never be guaranteed. If you would like to see if any past boxes are available, click HERE.
