Hoooked Knitting & Crochet Pattern Book

I’ve used Hoooked products a few times in the past and always been really impressed with them. A while back I was sent a book full of Knitting and Crochet projects to make with Hoooked Ribbon XL or Zpagetti yarn and FINALLY got around to creating something from it last week. For me, I find when I first get a book full of projects I get so excited and want to literally make everything that I don’t even know where to start.

On this occasion, I wanted to make something for the home so I opted for the pretty placemat. I chose to make it in the gorgeous RibbonXL coral colour called Iced Apricot (would you expect any other colour from me though? lol) The other colours I had to hand were Early Dew (mint) and Silver Grey. I was super easy to make and I made it in a leisurely 30 mins while watching TV on a Sunday evening. It was super satisfying to make and you could quite easily knock up a full set in one evening.

SO what other projects does the book include? Prepare to be seriously impressed! It includes items such as throws, cushions, rugs, bags, jumpers……the list goes on. I remember having a giggle with the team over at Hoooked (who are hilarious by the way) about one particular bag inspired by Strawberries. If you don’t know already, my surname means Strawberry in Italian so the ‘Fragola Bag’ was very apt.
