Is it just me, or are you dreaming of warmer weather already too? We’ve passed the acceptable period for snow (December 20th-31st) and now I am SO ready for some sunshine. With the warm weather comes a brighter colour palette like the beautifully Summery rich tones of the Jewels Blanket. Ideal for cosying up on cooler nights, this beginner-friendly, easy crochet blanket by guest designer Michelle Lyons of ForeverAutumn.

February 5, 2021 at 12:10 pmHi. Just wondering what size a blanket would be?
How much wool required for a largish throw?
Thank you.

February 5, 2021 at 6:49 pmThis would totally depend on the yarn you are using, your hook size and your tension. 🙂

August 9, 2022 at 6:27 pmHi Minna Yes, you can use any yarn that you wish for this blanket, although obviously the results will differ than the blanket shown I think using a cake yarn will make a really interesting blanket.
