NOTES

Skill level: Easy (the colour changes in this cushion are simple, however, this project will not be suitable for absolute beginners. Please ensure your tension is consistent before attempting)

This tapestry crochet pattern uses UK terms

Pattern is worked in tapestry crochet where the unused yarn is worked over by the working yarn. Please hold your unused yarn on the wrong side of the work.

Colour change is made with the final yarn over and pull through of the last stitch before colour change.  For Example: with colour A, insert hook in stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, with colour B, yarn over and draw through both loops on hook, proceed with colour B stitches.

Turning ch 1 does not count as a stitch.

CROCHET TERMS

Chain (ch): Yarn over, pull through one loop on hook.

Double Crochet (dc): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook.  Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.

Crab Stitch (cs): reverse dc. Working in the opposite direction. Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook.  Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
